ABOUT US

Dedicated Hands is a community-based nonprofit dedicated to creating pathways to stability, independence, and long-term success. Our primary focus is supporting veterans and individuals transitioning from incarceration through structured housing and supportive services, while also serving women, families, youth, and individuals experiencing hardship through education, mentorship, basic-needs assistance, and community outreach.

OUR MISSION

Our mission is to restore stability and create pathways to independence through the RESTORE Method™—providing structured housing, employment readiness, support systems, accountability, education, reintegration, and empowerment. While our primary housing and transitional services focus on veterans and individuals returning from incarceration, Dedicated Hands also strengthens women, families, youth, and underserved members of our community through supportive programs and essential resources.

OUR VISION

Our vision is to build communities where individuals and families have the structure, resources, opportunities, and support needed to move beyond instability and achieve lasting independence.

OUR STORY

Dedicated Hands was founded on the belief that temporary assistance alone is not enough to create lasting change. People facing housing instability, reentry after incarceration, financial hardship, or other life challenges often need structure, resources, accountability, opportunity, and continued support to successfully rebuild.

That belief led to the development of the RESTORE Method™—our structured approach to helping individuals move from instability toward independence.

Our work primarily addresses the needs of veterans and individuals transitioning from incarceration, while our broader community programs support women, families, youth, and others experiencing hardship. Through housing support, employment readiness, mentorship, education, basic-needs assistance, family support, and community outreach, Dedicated Hands works to strengthen the whole community—not simply address an immediate need.
